You will be trained by organisations such as Consent, Trafford Rape Crisis and Manchester Women’s Aid.

- Internal MMU counselling for volunteers
Spaces are limited so sign up NOW via Career Hub. You will gain 16 Bronze points towards your MMU Futures Award for attending the training. Workshop delivery thereafter will count towards your Silver Award.
Consent is working with young people across Manchester to teach them about sexual consent. We are delivering workshops to thousands of students across the next academic year, with a view to making a real change in the sexual assault figures across the city.
Trafford Rape Crisis is an organisation that exists to promote the needs and rights of women and girls who have experienced sexual violence, to improve services to them and to work towards the elimination of sexual violence. They also provide separate spaces and services for male sexual violence survivors and/or for men who are supporting a survivor.
Manchester Women’s Aid is an independent charity providing a range of services for women and children affected by domestic and sexual violence. They offer information, advice and support about domestic and sexual abuse/violence. Support can be given on the telephone or face to face.
