Join us for our Festival Family Fun Day on Saturday 25 June.
Volunteer for the busiest day of the Manchester Children’s Book Festival. Previous Family Fun Days have seen over 2000 families and children under 12 visit Geoffrey Manton Atrium.
Opportunities include Arts and Crafts assistants, General assistants and Author Assistants.
The day will be action packed with interactive activities and you will be involved in assisting with multisensory storytelling, a parade around the Atrium and a dog display in All Saints Park!

Help us take over Manchester Central Library on Saturday 2 July.
This day will be focusing on children over 12 and young adults (YA) and will host a variety of renowned YA authors and interactive workshops including digital face painting, poetry slams and a Robot Orchestra!

A number of paid and voluntary positions are available throughout the Festival, but these are reserved exclusively for students, alumni and staff of Manchester Metropolitan University as part of our Student Enrichment and Employability agendas. Students, alumni and staff who would like to be involved in the Festival should complete our online volunteer application form.
