It gives us great pleasure to announce Issue #3 of Avis now available to purchase.
Avis is a Make a Difference funded project under the Create Your Own Opportunities strand run by a team of dedicated MA Creative Writing students. The magazine includes short fiction, poetry and some prose, as well as interviews and blind criticism from professional writers and is a platform for students to get their work published and help them develop as writers
Issue #3 is themed on Influence. Containing a piece by the poet Philip Gross on the influence of GM Hopkins on his poetry, an interview with the short story writer Lara Williams, and full of inspiring prose, poetry, non-fiction, illustration and photography.
It is now available to purchase at Blackwells (Oxford rd), HOME cinema or online through the Students’ Union website (if you are an MMU student). Alternatively contact a member of the team at firstname.lastname@example.org for more details of how to buy a copy.
To celebrate the launch of Avis Issue #3 , to meet the editors and some of the local contributors please join the Avis Team on Friday 11 November at 8pm in Sand Bar. Copies of the magazine will be available on the night for purchase.
